Institution Profile
Lazismu (Lembaga Amil Zakat Infaq dan Shadaqah Muhammadiyah) is a national zakat institution dedicated to community empowerment through the productive management of zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and other philanthropic funds from individuals, organizations, corporations, and institutions.
The Lazismu Turkey branch was established to serve the Indonesian Muslim community in Turkey, especially students pursuing their education.
History
LAZISMU Türkiye was established in 2022 with the goal of helping those in need in Türkiye and surrounding regions, including Indonesia. The organization is an integral part of LAZISMU, the official zakat management body of Muhammadiyah, a leading Islamic organization in Indonesia. LAZISMU Türkiye focuses on humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and economic development based on progressive Islamic values.

Waqf Program

Waqf is a charitable act whose rewards continue to flow even after one has passed away. Lazismu Turkey manages waqf funds productively for the benefit of the community.
Cash Waqf
A waqf in the form of money managed productively, with the proceeds distributed to various social and humanitarian programs.
Educational Waqf
Specifically supports underprivileged children’s education, library development, and student scholarships.
Health Waqf
For free healthcare services, purchase of medical equipment, and sustainable community health programs.
